Are You Ready To Conserve Gas and Save Money?  Here are some tips to save as much as 37% right away:

        • Keep you tires properly inflated. This saves as much as 15%.

        • Keep your car engine tuned up.  A badly tuned car can INCREASE gas mileage usage by 20%.

        • Today's engines do not need to "warm up" before driving off.  Start your car and drive off.

        • Don't let your car idle except at stop signs and traffic signals (Hybrids shutdown automatically).  If you're stopping for more than 30 seconds (yes, the day of the Drive-Thru is over!), turn off your engine.

        • Accelerate and decelerate smoothly.  Cruise control saves gas - except - in hilly and mountainous areas.

        • Drive 55 MPH instead of 65 MPH.  You use 7% MORE gas when you drive over 60 MPH.
