Urban Forester Signoff and Lex-Call information

Urban Forester Signoff

In Appendix C, Page C-1, Item # 4, revise as follows:
  • 4. Grading, Erosion, and Sediment Control Plan and Sign-off from the Urban Forester
Lex-Call

Page 22 of the Procedures Manual for Infrastructure Development, specifically items 11-14, requires the Engineer to notify the Division of Engineering, Sanitary Sewers and Traffic Engineering 72 hours in advance of performing certain activities relative to new development construction projects.

Effective June 1, 2002 the engineer may use Lex-Call to provide notification to the Division of Engineering in order to meet the requirements of the Procedures Manual.

The procedure to use Lex-Call is as follows:
  1. Call the Lex-Call number 425-2255 and inform the representative that you are requesting to provide notification to The Division of Engineering of a "Request for Inspection" and provide them with the Code # 320N50.

They will also need information related to the project location and other specific information.
  2. Do not call the Division of Engineering Inspector to meet the requirements of the Procedures Manual.
  3. The Lex-Call Code for Engineering (#320N50) should also be used to notify the Division of Engineering prior to a Sub grade Proof Roll Test.
Note: Please note that items 11-13 pertain to Engineering and Sanitary Sewers and Item 14 pertains to Engineering and Traffic Engineering. Sanitary Sewers and Traffic Engineering have different code numbers and the Lex-Call Representative needs to know specifically which division should receive notification.
