It took hours, a lot of hard work and getting dirty, but at the end of the day, there was tangible proof of their efforts -- a new playground. The Joyland Neighborhood Association, in conjunction with Parks & Recreation, held a playground build at Mary Todd Park on Rogers Road. And while the work was done in a single day, the benefits will last years.
