for the Policemen’s and Firefighters' Retirement Fund The Policemen’s and Firefighters’ Retirement Fund (PFRF) is a retirement and benefit fund for sworn members of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Division of Police and Division of Fire and Emergency Services. As of January 1, 2008 the PFRF included 843 retirees and beneficiaries and 1065 active employees. This web page provides a summary of the policies and benefits of the PFRF. The provisions of the PFRF are established by state law (KRS 67A.360 – 67A.690). The statutes should be consulted for detailed information.
