Last year, hundreds of people filled the streets of downtown Lexington as they jumped, jived and wailed at Swingin’ on Main. While there, they enjoyed live music provided by Blair Carman and the Belleview Boys, the Mid-West’s hottest rock-n-roll, piano pumpin’ rockabilly band. Make plans to join us again as Arthur Murray and the UK HepKats Swing Dance Club provide free lessons to everyone who wants to learn to swing dance. Once the lessons are over, individuals can compete in the dance contest and take home great prizes. In addition, concessions will be available on-site for those who need a break. Swingin’ on Main, which is FREE, is brought to you by Parks and Recreation, Arthur Murray Dance Studio, UK HepKats Swing Dance Club, WTVQ-TV and Cricket Wireless.
