Walking Club

Headquarters: Turfland Mall

The Striders Walking Club was formed twenty-five years ago to cultivate fun and camaraderie in walking. Participants can walk where they choose, at their own pace. These individual mileage totals can be reported on the second Wednesday of each month from 9:30 – 10:30 am at Turfland Mall. Certificates, pins and other prizes are awarded. In addition, special events, day trips and other activities are planned throughout the year. To sign-up or obtain additional information, call 233-0986. The Strider’s Walking Club is co-sponsored by the Lexington Medical Society.
