We work hard so you can play! Whether it's skateboarding, swimming or jogging, Lexington's Parks
and Recreation has a lot to offer. Currently, there are more than 100 parks consisting of more than
4,000 acres in Lexington. Our parks system includes athletics, after school programs, aquatics,
community centers, cultural arts, day camps, dog runs, equestrian, fitness trails, golf, gymnasium,
natural areas, playgrounds, rental facilities, senior adult programs, special events, therapeutic
recreation and open spaces for passive recreation. And these are just a few of the things we offer.

The Division of Parks & Recreation welcomes and encourages the participation of individuals with
disabilities. To request a disability accommodation, please contact Kristy Stambaugh at (859)
288-2928 at least two weeks prior to the program start date.

Mission Statement
