The Division of Parks and Recreation’s Golf School offers six (6) hours of instruction designed to introduce golf fundamentals to beginners and review the basics for more experienced golfers. Under the direction of PGA Professionals, a curriculum has been developed to include set-up, swing, driving, chipping and putting fundamentals, as well as etiquette.

The Golf Schools will take place at Lakeside Golf Course. Cost is $40 per session and includes range balls. The Golf School is open to youth (8 – 17 years) and adults (18 years and older). Each session is limited to 25 students. Please bring golf clubs if possible. Registration is required and those interested in attending may call (859) 288-2968.

Parks & Recreation will once again offer the popular Ladies Golf Camp. Because of its overwhelming success in the past, a new date and location have been added. Each year over 100 participants come out and enjoy golf instruction from our PGA Professionals. The cost for the camp is $50 per person and includes eight hours of instruction, range balls and one complimentary round of golf at a Parks & Recreation facility.

Pre-registration is required for all golf schools and camps. Additionally, a deposit is required at the time of registration. For additional information on the Golf Schools, contact Mike Fields at 288-2968.
