Aquatics
The LFUCG Division of Parks & Recreation operates nine (9) aquatic facilities located throughout Lexington. The aquatic facilities will open for the summer swimming season on Saturday, May 24, and all remaining pools will open on Saturday, May 31. Please note that prices for admission and lessons are subject to change.

Pool Passes
Pool passes for the 2008 season are available beginning Saturday, May 24 and can be purchased at most pools throughout the summer swimming season during operating hours. The cost is $45 for a single pool pass and $150 for a family pool pass. (Prices are subject to change)

Neighborhood Pools
Our Neighborhood Pool is located at Picadome. Picadome is 3’ to 10’ and there is a restroom located at this facility. The cost to swim at Picadome is $2 for youth (15 & under) and $3 for adults (16 & over). This pool is open from 12 – 6 pm, Monday through Saturday and 1 – 6 pm on Sunday.

Olympic and Mini Olympic-sized Pools
The Olympic-sized pools, Berry Hill (25m), Constitution (25m), Douglass (25m) and Shillito (50m), include such amenities as bath houses, baby pools and vending machines. Cost for daily admission is $2 for youth (15 & under) and $3 for adults (16 & over) with the exception of Douglass which is free. Learn More.

Family Aquatic Centers
The Family Aquatic Centers are located at Castlewood, Southland, Tates Creek and Woodland. These state-of-the-art facilities include bath houses, concession areas (grills at Southland and Woodland), great water play areas for children 10 and under, outdoor play area (sand), playgrounds, slides, diving boards (3-meter board at Woodland), grassy beach areas for sunning and zero-depth entry/exit. Wet & Wild Wednesdays
Join us from Noon — 3 pm every Wednesday from June 4 through August 6, at one of our family aquatic centers for Wet & Wild Wednesdays. There will be a special theme each week, prizes, contests and a wide-variety of pool games. All activities are FREE with your regular pool admission. Back to School Blast
10 am—4 pm
Saturday, August 9
Southland Aquatic Center

School is back in session on Monday, August 11, for many Fayette County students, so the LFUCG Division of Parks and Recreation is saying “goodbye” to the summer with its “Back to School Blast” at the Southland Aquatic Center. There will be games, door prizes, giveaways, exhibits and more! All activities are FREE with your paid pool admission. For more information, call 288-2987.
