The Division of Litigation represents the Urban County Government in federal and state court and before such administrative bodies as the Public Service Commission and the Human Right Commission. The division generally handles several hundred new cases each fiscal year, including the prosecution of collection matters and the defense of the Government when it is sued. In FY 2006, collection efforts totaled $1,077,407.91.
