Kevin O. Stinnett is serving his first term as the 6th District Council member. He represents Lexington on the Intergovernmental, Services, and Planning committees.

He owns Premier Financial Group - Insurance and Financial Services and is an Investment Advisory Representative with Jefferson Pilot Securities Corporation. A native of Lexington, Stinnett is a graduate of Centre College in Danville. He holds a bachelor of science degree in Economics and Spanish.

Stinnett is currently a member of BAIFA (Bluegrass Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors), Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Bluegrass, and past president of the Northern Cal Ripken Baseball & Softball Association. He is a qualifier of the Million Dollar Round Table, Court of The Table, and a graduate of the Lexington Leadership program.

In his spare time, Stinnett is a strong advocate for the benefit of children in Lexington where he has been a Big Brother since 1996; coaches baseball for 5-12 year olds and football for 9-10 year olds. He and his wife, Kati, are members of Eastland Church of God.
