Calling for help: In an emergency, dial 9-1-1 and your call will be transferred to one of 23 fire stations in Lexington and Fayette County.

FREE SERVICES:

Vial of Life Program: Container/information sheet for medical information. Questions, call 231-5600.

Blood pressure checks: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at any fire station.

Structural child car seat safety installation: Call 455-7328 for appointment.

Station Tours: Call 231-5641.

Fire and EMS incident reports: Station No. 1 – 219 East Third St. from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays - Fridays.

Fire Prevention Bureau: 217 East Third St. – 231-5668 for questions about:

  • Fire Prevention Week activities/parade
  • Fire hydrants
  • Public Education Program speakers (children-adult)
  • Fire Safety Inspections
  • Plan Review – new and existing Building Code Compliance
  • Fire Investigation Unit: 231-5672
Hazardous materials response team: Call 9-1-1 and tell the operator you have a hazardous material emergency.
