Adult Education ReSource Program: Single mothers, 15-21 years old, may complete high school or get their GED while their children (six weeks to four years) attend on-site child care. This program provides parenting, life skills, career assessment, and employment assistance.

Early Child Care Program: This program provides developmental childcare services for children six weeks old to four years of age. This program serves teen mothers in the Adult Education ReSource Program, working mothers who have been through the program, and foster families. When space is available, child care is open to the public.

Medical Clinic: Pediatric and adolescent health services include: dental, preventive and acute health care, mental health, speech therapy, WIC, and social services. For more information, call 288-4053.

Food services training: Interested in working in commercial or institutional food service? Enroll in The Family Care Center’s Culinary Arts training class. This 192-hour class teaches students how to prepare meals from breads to desserts. Classes meet Monday through Friday, 8:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

HANDS Home Visitation Program: A voluntary, intensive home visit program for first-time parents. Trained home visitors support families in understanding child development, bonding, prenatal care, and infant health. Families must enroll during pregnancy or before the infant reaches 12 weeks of age. For more information, call 288-4099.
