Property code violations: Call 3-1-1 or LexCall at 425-2255 to report any violation of the Property Maintenance Code, which contains detailed property maintenance requirements.

House numbering: Property and buildings should be marked properly and be easy to spot.

Sidewalk repairs: Property owners are responsible for replacing or repairing defective sections of sidewalk. To file a complaint about a sidewalk, call Code Enforcement or LexCall. The Urban County Government has a sidewalk replacement grant program, when funds are available.

Sidewalk obstruction: To report trees, bushes, or other vegetation obstructing the view of a street or passage on a sidewalk, call LexCall.

High weeds, trash, and other nuisances: Call LexCall to report the following nuisances on a property — weeds or grass taller than 12 inches; trash, garbage, building debris, refuse or waste of any kind; upholstered or other indoor furniture used or stored outdoors.

Junked vehicles on street: Call Police at 258-3600 if the abandoned or junked vehicle is parked on a public street. Call LexCall if the junked or wrecked vehicle, or any vehicle not properly licensed, is parked on private property for longer than 10 days.

Right-of-way (ROW) signs: It is illegal in Fayette County to place non-permitted signs of any type in the public right-of-way. Call LexCall at 425-2255 or 3-1-1 to have them removed.
