Communications & Dispatch Center
Twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, when you call us, we're here for you.
The communications center at the Division of Fire & Emergency Services responds to both administrative and emergency
calls for service from the public. This requeires several highly trained and dedicated staff members around the clock.
Radio Support Services
The Division of Fire & Emergency Services has developed a highly technical and very reliable radio communications
system to provide enhanced firefighter safety and response efficiency.
Computer Operations
The Division of Fire's Computer Operations Unit handles a wide range of information media and services. Computer aided dispatch,
mobile computing applications and hardware, Intranet and networked PC's at all the fire stations and many administrative
workstations require a dedicated and highly trained staff. These people have proven time and time again their value when system
integrity has been compromised through weather and mechanical crises.
